Its location right next to the Zillertaler Höhenstraße (mountain pass) definitely has its benefits – this road counts among the highest mountain passes and guarantees a perfect bus infrastructure for skiing tourists and hikers, who prefer leaving the car parked at the hotel…

The two faces of the Zillertal – on the one hand a highly developed infrastructure, which also gives older guests and not really athletic guests the chance to visit the remote and beautiful corners of the valley – on the other hand, you will find untouched areas that let you travel back in time.

... get off the A12 Inntal Motorway taking exit Wiesing/Zillertal. Then take the direct way through the Brettfall-Tunnel into the Zillertal. Stay on the Zillertal-Bundesstrasse (B 169 - main road) for approximately 23km.

You go through another tunnel in Zell am Ziller – after that one follow the Zillertal-Bundestraße for approx. 2km until the next crossing with a set of lights (in Ramsau). Take a right turn there, cross the Ziller river and take another right turn approx. 200m further on to drive round Hippach.

Take a left turn at the first crossing, pass the church and drive upwards towards the Zillertaler Höhenstraße. Continue on this road for approximately 1km. You will find the Kashütte located directly in a right turn next to the road – easily spotted with sufficient parking.
