The small mediterranean village of Petrčane is situated on the Zadar Riviera and is only a couple of kilometers away from the historic royal town of Nin and 12 km from the city of Zadar (the cultural and historical centar of Northen Dalmatia). It is the ideal choice for a family vacation as Petrcane has a well sheltered bay for swimming in the crystal clear Adriatic sea, there are many restaurants and caffe bars and also there is access to the Hotel Pinija complex where you can find many sporting and entertainment activities. In the vicinity there are even 4 national parks: a unique opportunity for a richer cultural life magnificent excursions. Zagreb-Karlovac motorway (direction Zadar, Split) Bosiljevo-Otočac-Gospic Sv. Rok tunnel exit Zadar Zapad (Zapad = West). As heard on the highway and head towards Zadar still 20km along a country road. On the outskirts of Zadar Zadar some 1500m to the plate, take the first street (2nd traffic light) turn right towards Vir-Nin. Stay on this road and continue until 2nd crossroad (supermarket "Plodine"). As you turn right towards Petrčane.
